Daniel Gélinas has recognized expertise in the planning, production and deployment of major events, but also a thorough knowledge of organizations at the communication, administrative and financial levels. His global vision and understanding of the issues make him a leading consultant who knows how to present new opportunities and guide through all the steps for a flawless execution. In particular, he has cutting-edge expertise in financial structuring and sponsorship activation.
Daniel has more than 30 years of experience in organizing cultural events. He has managed all types of organizations, from the smallest to the largest. From 2002 to 2017, he was the Executive Director of Festival d'été de Québec, which has become a must for the greatest international artists. Daniel has also worked with the Québec City Winter Carnival, the 400th anniversary celebrations of Québec City and the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières. He also masters the entrepreneurship sector, since he started his career in a socio-economic development corporation.
Daniel has given dozens of conferences on event management and leadership. In 2018, he was made a Chevalier de l'Ordre du Québec and received the Grand Québécois distinction from the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie de Québec. He has also been named Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government.
